Methodology
How Signals Are Generated
FXDPRO generates quantitative signals by analyzing live 1-minute price data across multiple timeframes (M15, H1, H4, D1) using:
- Trend detection — direction based on moving average slope and momentum
- Confluence scoring — percentage of timeframes in agreement (0–100%)
- Correlation context — Pearson correlation between related pairs for confluence confirmation
How Outcomes Are Evaluated
- Every signal with Confluence Score ≥ 60% is logged with the price at time of signal
- 4 hours after the signal, the actual closing price is compared
- Win: price moved >0.02% in the signal direction
- Loss: price moved >0.02% against the signal direction
- Neutral: price moved less than 0.02% in either direction
What This Does NOT Mean
- This is not a trading strategy — no entry/exit rules, position sizing, or risk management is included
- Direction accuracy does not account for spread, slippage, or commissions
- FXDPRO signals are market data analysis tools, not investment advice
